My stay at Residenza D'Epoca Palazzo Galletti was quite a mixed experience. The charm and romantic atmosphere of this historical B&B were enchanting, and the spaciousness of my room, Mercurio, added to the comfort. However, I found the lack of an elevator quite challenging, especially with heavy luggage, and not having free wifi in the room was a bit inconvenient.

The room I stayed in was spacious and well-decorated, with a nice balcony and a huge bathroom. Still, the fact that I had to carry my luggage up to the second floor was a downside.
Service
7.0
The staff were genuinely helpful and provided good tourist information, though communication was sometimes a bit tricky due to limited English proficiency. They were very kind and accommodating, which I appreciated.
Location

Palazzo Galletti's location is fantastic. It's just a short walk to the Duomo, making it easy to explore Florence, yet it feels removed from the crowded tourist areas.
Dining

Breakfast was served in a quaint cellar. While it didn't impress me too much, it was decent enough to start my day. I found nearby cafes like Il Dolce di Patrizio Cosi even better for a quick bite.
Facilities
6.0
The hotel's facilities were quite limited, with no elevator and no room service, making everything feel a bit basic. However, the cleanliness and maintenance were commendable.

I had a lovely stay at Palazzo Galletti, with spacious and stylish rooms that felt like staying in an art gallery. The location was perfect, just a short walk from major attractions, though the lack of a lift was a challenge with my luggage. The breakfast left a bit to be desired, but overall, the quaint charm and friendly service made my experience nice.

I stayed in the Cerere room, which had gorgeous frescoes and was clean and spacious. The only downside was a bit of noise from a classroom above, but it was manageable.
Service

The staff were friendly and helpful, giving me great tips on local eateries. However, the lobby hours were limited, so it’s good to communicate arrival times in advance.

The hotel is in a fantastic spot, only a five-minute walk to the Duomo. It’s conveniently close to restaurants and shops without being in the noisy tourist hub.
Dining

Breakfast was pretty basic and not super appealing, so I ended up grabbing pastries from nearby shops instead. There are great local cafes just a block away that I highly recommend.

I loved the artistic vibe and how clean everything was. There is a nice spa downstairs, although it’s not part of the hotel. Just a heads-up, you'll need to navigate some stairs to get to the rooms.

I had a really unique experience at Residenza D'Epoca Palazzo Galletti. The historical vibe of the place was super charming and made my stay feel special. The spaciousness of the rooms was a major plus, but I came across a couple of small hiccups, like the limited breakfast hours and some minor service inconsistencies. Overall, it was a great stay, especially considering the price.

My room was quite spacious and well-decorated, offering a comfy vibe, though it lacked some personal touches. The bathroom was nice and had good water pressure, which I appreciated!

The location was fantastic, just a few minutes' walk from the Duomo, making it super convenient for sightseeing. I felt safe during the day, but a bit cautious at night.

Breakfast was decent, though I wished it was served a little longer. Thankfully, they did accommodate me with sack breakfasts when I had to leave early.

Although the hotel had some modern amenities and a lovely breakfast area, I was disappointed to find out the spa was not on-site like I had hoped.

My stay at Residenza D'Epoca Palazzo Galletti was quite mixed. While the hotel exuded a charming, historical atmosphere and my room had impressive decor, I experienced some significant downsides. The location was fantastic for exploring Florence, but I also encountered issues with the service and amenities that left me feeling disappointed overall. Overall, while I loved the ambiance, several aspects didn't meet my expectations. 😕

My room (Cerere Suite) was spacious and beautifully decorated with stunning frescos. However, I did notice some cleanliness issues, like the shower not being up to standard. I appreciated the lovely size of the suites but hoped for better upkeep.
Service

The staff was friendly and warm, but I found the service to be lacking during breakfast. Requests for items like juice and eggs were overlooked, which was disappointing considering the price.
Location
9.0
The hotel was centrally located, making it easy to walk around and access many attractions in Florence. This was definitely one of the highlights of my stay.
Dining

Breakfast offerings were basic and somewhat disappointing. I experienced cold food and had to ask for items that should have been readily available. It felt less than ideal after a night in such a lovely city.
Facilities

While the hotel boasted a unique historical setting, some facilities felt outdated, especially with the issues in the suite I stayed in. There could have been better maintenance.

I had a good stay at Residenza D'Epoca Palazzo Galletti, despite a few hiccups. The unique charm of the historical setting was nice, and it was wonderful to relax on the balcony with a glass of wine from the owner's vineyard. However, I did notice some issues with the booking process that could use improvement.

Rooms

The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, offering great local recommendations. They were always willing to assist, especially in the breakfast area, which created a nice atmosphere.
Location

The location was fantastic, with easy access to major sights like the Duomo and numerous restaurants nearby. It made exploring Florence so convenient, though I did find the entrance a bit tricky to navigate at first.
Dining

Breakfast was served in a quaint cellar that had its own charm. While it was a bit basic, it was still satisfactory with good quality offerings.
Facilities

The hotel had decent facilities, but I felt it lacked some modern amenities that guests might expect from a more traditional hotel. The lack of assistance with luggage was also a bit inconvenient.
